Français / English91 Done properly. Better than 2 of 4 rivals.

The clinic is good. The internet cannot tell. Nothing on the site is machine-readable, so the systems that hand out patients, Google, Maps and AI assistants, have almost nothing to hand you.

2More bookingsCalls + portal bookings, reconciled with Pomelo
3Happier patientsRating trend, review velocity, reply rate
4More revenueBookings × $295 average exam

Every move below feeds this chain, and every move carries its own measurement. One number without a baseline is a story, so week zero is instrumentation.

Fourth of five overall, last on listings. Three of four rivals publish structured data; you publish none. Your hidden assets: 4.8★ from 59 Google reviews, and the best bilingual setup in the group.

The plan

Six moves. Problem, solution, proof.

Move 01

Own the map

Listings 34 → 75
Problem

13 of 14 directories carry no citation. The site publishes no machine-readable address. Local pack ranking runs on exactly these signals: 32% profile, 20% reviews.

Solution

Claim Apple Maps, Bing, Yelp, Pages Jaunes and the aggregators with identical name, address, phone. Publish the address as PostalAddress markup. Link every profile from the footer.

Measure

Citations live: x/14 checklist. Lift: profile interactions and local pack position, rivals re-scanned same day as control. Complete profiles average 7× more clicks (Google); 76% of near-me searches visit within 24h.

Move 02

Make the site machine-readable

Site 76 → 92
Problem

Zero structured data, no meta description, share preview says “Home”. Google and AI assistants have nothing to file you under.

Solution

One JSON-LD block on both language templates: MedicalClinic, services with the $295 price, FAQ, the real 4.8★ rating. Proper descriptions and share cards. About a day of developer work.

Measure

Search Console: valid rich results (pass/fail), then CTR at held position. Google’s own cases: Rotten Tomatoes +25% CTR, Nestlé +82% CTR on rich results.

Move 03

Put the 59 reviews to work

Best unused asset
Problem

4.8★ from 59 reviews, and no machine-readable trace of it anywhere on your site. Replies are inconsistent.

Solution

Ask at result delivery, when satisfaction peaks. Reply to every review in the patient’s language. Mark up on-site testimonials. Steady trickle beats bursts: recency is its own ranking factor.

Measure

Reviews per week, reply rate, rating trend, straight from the profile. 92% read reviews before a first visit; 88% vs 47% would use a business that replies vs one that does not (BrightLocal, n=1,026).

Move 04

Answer what patients type

AI readiness 37 → 75
Problem

All 11 AI crawlers may read the site; zero question-shaped content exists for them to quote. A French prompt about private ultrasound cannot cite you.

Solution

Six questions, answered in FR and EN with FAQ markup: referral? price? delay? RAMQ or private insurance? results? blood draw same visit?

Measure

Count of distinct queries earning impressions (Search Console), referrals from chatgpt.com and perplexity.ai (GA4), and the intake question below. Honest limit: nobody can promise an AI answer share; access and quotability are what we control.

Move 05

Fix the snippet and share card

Half a day
Problem

Every link a patient forwards previews as the word “Home”. All four rivals publish a proper description; you let Google improvise yours.

Solution

Descriptions in both languages leading with price and speed, real og:title, og:description, og:image, alt text on 20 images.

Measure

CTR at held position, 2 to 4 weeks. Fastest feedback loop in the plan: impressions stay flat, only click behaviour moves.

Move 06

Show up on social, in French first

New channel
Problem

No Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn presence is even linked from the site. Rivals cite three profiles each. Your measurement is already solved: your omnichannel platform sees every network in one place. Production is the gap.

Solution

Short-form video, French first, 2 to 3 posts a week: answer one patient question per clip, price transparency, behind the scenes. First asset is done, an AI clinician spokesperson in French, viral short format, delivered with this report. The same avatar can front the whole series at near-zero production cost.

Measure

Reach, views and follows per network in your omnichannel dashboard. Clicks: every post links to the booking portal with its own tag (see attribution below). Bookings: “réseaux sociaux” option in the intake question.

Deliverable included

Promo video no. 1, ready to post

30 seconds, 9:16 vertical, French. A quiet "come to work with me" day-in-the-life: pre-dawn coffee, the walk to the building at dawn, up to the floor, badge on, the room prepared, then the working morning. No voiceover and no sales pitch, just ambient sound and short French captions naming each step, closing on Lien dans la bio pour booker. This format is watched for the person rather than tolerated for the ad, which is why it travels further than a direct promo.

Attribution

Which listing sent the patient?

Every profile we create for you is wired to answer one question: did it send you a patient? Each listing carries its own tagged booking link, so portal clicks are counted per directory. Phone numbers are handled with more care, because publishing a different number on every directory would show Google fourteen phone numbers for one clinic and undo the very consistency the listings are built on. Your real 438 number anchors every profile, and tracking numbers live only in the two places they cannot leak into the listings: the Google profile, which supports one officially, and your website.

Prerequisite, week zero: the booking portal lives on qc.pomelo.health, a separate domain, so the site cannot see completed bookings on its own. Either Pomelo enables cross-domain tracking and a source field, or we count portal clicks and reconcile weekly against Pomelo’s booking export. Until then every conversion number is a guess.

Week 0

Instrument

Baselines, GA4 link, tagged links, tracking numbers, intake question, Pomelo reconciliation. Change nothing yet.

Wk 1–2

Move 01

Claim all 13 missing profiles with identical details and submit every verification. Filings finish inside the two weeks; a few directories take longer to confirm by mail or phone, and those confirmations land on their own while the rest of the plan runs.

Wk 2

Moves 02 to 05

Structured data, descriptions, share cards and alt text ship in one developer day. The review routine and the bilingual FAQ go live the same week.

Wk 3–8

Move 06

The social series runs on the avatar, 2 to 3 posts a week, while reviews and FAQ traffic compound.

Wk 8–12

Re-scan and diff

Same 42 checks, same four rivals, same day. Every claim above gets verified or called out.

Moves ship staggered so effects stay attributable. This site is too small for A/B testing (5 URLs; split tests need 80+ comparable pages), so the controls are: rivals re-scanned as market baseline, and year-over-year comparison for seasonality.

Reading the numbers

What counts as real

Bookings are small counts and small counts wobble. At 40 bookings a month, anything under a 45% swing is statistically noise month over month; at 80, the bar is 32%. So early wins get judged on the high-volume machine metrics (impressions, CTR, profile actions, where 10% is detectable in weeks) and bookings get judged on four-week blocks against last year. A monthly report that celebrates a 6% booking lift is reading tea leaves, and ours will say so.

Method and limits

All 42 checks fetched live on 17 August 2026: page HTML, redirect chain, robots.txt per AI user agent, sitemap, both language versions. Rival clinics scanned the same day with identical checks. Listings measure what the site publishes about itself, not verified directory pulls. Conversion stats cited are from Google, BrightLocal (n=1,026) and Whitespark’s practitioner survey; scan figures are reproducible on demand. No projected revenue appears here because an honest projection cannot be built from public data. The noise thresholds are Poisson counting variation at two standard deviations. Language findings are technical, not legal advice.
